Custody Battle

My heart is just hurting for my stepdaughter Amaya. I wish this custody battle would just end. Who in their right mind would take a child out of a 2 parent home with a little brother in a safe stable enviroment and give the child to their biological mother who lives in the ghetto and is completely unstable and a drug user??? It hasnt happened yet , and if it does I swear I do not know what my husband and I will do. If the point she is trying to make is that Patrick is not a good father....she is SO wrong it is not even funny. It kills me that someone who carried a baby for 9 months just would give up on their kid at 6 months old, then finally come back around when she is almost 3 years old just because she thinks she can get money from us if she takes care of her. She doesnt care about Amaya she just cares about money. If amaya was not apart of Patrick and I's life everyday then it just wouldnt be right, I have helped raise her for the past year 1/2 if not longer and I think of her as my own child , she calls me Mommy and her birth mom by her name. She is the sweetest , smartest lil girl ever and for someone to use her just to get some free money they will pay for it later on. I just want this all to be over!!!!! Sorry , this entire thing just drives me insane! and is very upsetting for me and my husband!

Friends come and Go...but family is always there.

So I am unfortunately learning the ups and downs of being married young. Some of the girls I have been friends with for almost 16years are basically no longer apart of my life. Not by my choice, but they just never call, never text, never check up, never ask to do anything....unless I am the first to call, text, check up, ask out. It is just hard when you have had these people around you , your entire life, and now they just are not around at all. Trust me , I have my hands full with my family and house but for those days when you just need to be silly and laugh with the people who have always known how to cheer you up , it just puts a damper on everything. I wish they would come around more often or at least show an interest in my life, like I do for them. But I guess, I signed up for it ,being married at 19years old going on 20 your life is 100% different then it was before. I love my husband , I love my daughter, and I love my son. We are creating our own new life that is coming with new friends...but nothing is the same as those people who are always deep down in your heart forever.
